The original arched units had chalky, sun-faded frames. New Airtite windows went in with black frames cut to the same radius, so the brick arches never had to be touched — same openings, sharper lines, and glass that actually seals.

Years of West Texas sun had greyed out the original stained doors. The replacement is a matching arched double entry with divided lights, painted deep red and hung plumb in the existing stone opening — no masonry altered.

This wall spent years behind solar screens — the usual fix for glass that can’t hold back a West Texas afternoon. A continuous run of new Airtite windows went in across the whole span, the screens came off for good, and the room got its view back.
